5th Grade Wax Museum

Dear Parents,
To end our biography study the students will participate in a Wax Museum. As a fifth grade, we have decided that each student will select a person from our fifth grade curriculum to study and portray that evening. Our social studies curriculum covers American history, so there are many people to choose from. We are planning our Wax Museum for Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive by 6:00 p.m. to set up. More information regarding that night will be coming.
This is a culminating activity, which we will be working on for the next 2 ½ weeks in class. Students will complete a Thinking Map portfolio about their famous person and prepare an informational card listing interesting facts.
After our classroom discussion your child has selected________________
to research and portray in our Wax Museum. If you need any assistance in planning a costume, please let me know.
